WPCS ONLINE PEDIGREES

The Society is delighted to announce the re-introduction of the popular WPCS Online Pedigree search facility.
From the WPCS Home Page (www.wpcs.uk.com) click on the menu tab ‘Online Pedigree’  – On mobile devices, the menu might appear in the top right-hand corner.

Before you start searching:
• Make sure you spell the name correctly
• Is the name hyphenated?
• If you’re not sure of the full name of the Pony/Cob, type in the prefix and the first couple of letters of the name and then press Search

If the Pony or Cob is currently ‘alive’ insert the name you wish to search for.
If the Pony or Cob is updated as deceased with the Society, make sure to tick the relevant box before searching
Click ‘Search for Animals’
Once the Pony/Cob’s name appears click on the name

You can now access
• The Pony/Cob’s pedigree
• Progeny
• Show results

If searching and you wish to go further back on a pedigree just click the name of that pony and it will offer the name of that Pony/Cob.
To go ‘forward’; in a pedigree –click the ‘Progeny’ of a Pony or Cob and scroll down until you reach your Pony/Cob of choice. Click the name and repeat this action until you arrive at the Original pony/Cob you chose to search for first.

Animals that are deceased and have no live progeny are not searchable on this database, they will still appear as the progeny of their sire or dam, but for the speed of this service, the records of Ponies and Cobs who have no descendants have been frozen.

We hope you enjoy this facility and that it is helpful. If you have any comments, suggestions or queries, please email enquiries@wpcs.uk.com marking your query ‘Online Pedigree’
Enjoy!
