NEW WPCS OFFICIAL SALE WEBSITE

The WPCS and McCartneys Official Auctioneers are pleased to announce that the entry system is now open for this year’s Official Autumn sale, to be held at the Royal Welsh Showground on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the 20th,21st and 22nd of October 2023.
This is a new bespoke website for the Society’s Official sales. Entries, and payment can only be done via this website.
Members are encouraged to enter early – the closing date for entries is Friday August the 25th, 2023. This will be strictly adhered to. If you have any difficulties or need help entering your animals please email enquiries@wpcs.uk.com and a member of staff will call you to offer assistance.
Potential vendors are reminded that to ensure a quick entry process that:
• To enter you must be a current fully paid-up member of the WPCS – to enter you will need your membership number which is printed on your membership card.
• The animals entered must be in your ownership. The animal’s passport should reflect this and be stamped by the WPCS.
• Animals over the age of 18 cannot be sold at the Official sales.
Entry fees remain at the same price for the third successive year. Last year the sale attracted some 622 entries across all 5 sections with joint – top prices of £14,000.
WPCS Chair Ed Gummery noted.
“I am delighted that the entries for the Third Official WPCS Autumn sale are now open. A newly designed, one-stop website should help members enter their lots far more easily. We look forward to a three-day sale, building on the successes of the 2021 and 2022 sales events, offering buyers from all over the world the opportunity to see our breed at its finest in the big sale ring stage at Builth Wells. Here’s wishing all vendors the best of luck!”
McCartneys’ Phil Blackman Howard shared “We are proud to be working on this third Official Autumn sale for the Society moving forward with new dedicated website ensuring a quick and easily accessed process for the members as vendors. The first two sales have been a great success and we look forward to seeing everyone in October.”
