A ‘Marvel’ tops the second WPCS Official Online Sale

Glyncoch Marvel WS97609 a dun Welsh Section C stallion topped today’s sale at £3,000. With fifty animals changing hands at an average of £960; the online sale has provided members with the opportunity to promote their stock far and wide.

The seven-year-old Glyncoch Marvel  was consigned by Ben Orchard from Hampshire, by Thorneyside Bay Prince out of Glynwyn Matilda by Glynwyn Gideon, and bred in Carmarthenshire, West Wales by the Pearce family.

Some of the lots, not sold today, are available to purchase at their reserve prices for the next ten days. Visit the catalogue page www.farmersmarts.co.uk to view.

Entries for the next Official Online Sale close this Thursday 15th October.

If you are a vendor who has sold at today’s sale; please send the signed passports for the sold lots to the WPCS Office for transfer. Foal passports will be transferred at the Office and issued to the vendors as soon as possible.

The Society would like to thank all the members who supported this sale, be they vendors, purchasers or bidders and wish each buyer well with your new purchase. Thank you to Rhys Davies and his dedicated team at Farmers Marts for their professional service.
