LORNA REYNOLDS 22nd April 1936 – 7th February 2020.

It is with deepest sorrow that we wish to inform the membership that Lorna Reynolds passed away peacefully on Friday evening. A private burial for close family will take place at Springbourne where she will be surrounded by her ponies and laid to rest beside her beloved David.

Lorna Reynolds, nee Gibson, had a lifelong association with the Welsh breeds. She and her late husband David and latterly daughter Cerys have had an immense influence on the breed, and notably on more than one section of the Stud book, which is a huge achievement.

The Society is indebted to their vision, commitment and talent as both breeders and producers. So many studs have benefited and built from the foundations laid by the Springbourne duo.
Our thoughts are with Cerys, Stephen and the family at this sad time.
