Bronze Soldier marches to another victory!

It was another Welsh Section B ‘Skellorn Bronze Soldier WS77503 who trounced all breeds to take the coveted qualifier for the HOYS Price Family in hand championship at the recent Royal Norfolk Show.
At fifteen years of age Soldier is no stranger to qualifying, this being his fourth ticket. He has also been reserve for the qualification on four occasions. Bred by Kerry Wainwright, he is the fourth generation of homebred Skellorn ponies being by Skellorn Consort WS31132 out of WM74894 Bureside Penny Black and carries the legendary Downland Chevalier on both sides of his pedigree.
A ’thrilled’ Kerry wished to thank expert showman Stuart Mason for his continued successful partnership with Soldier.
Bronze Soldier is the current reigning Royal Welsh Champion from 2019 and is the second Welsh Section B to qualify this year. Many congratulations from the Society
