Platinum Jubilee
The Welsh Pony and Cob Society would like to congratulate our Patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who today celebrates her 70th anniversary year as monarch of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
The Society has enjoyed her patronage since 1944, and wishes Her Majesty the very best with the Platinum celebrations planned for this year to mark the occasion.
This photograph shows Her Majesty the Queen with the then Society President in 1983; the late Mrs Doris Gadsden of the Bengad Stud, at the opening of the Society’s pavilion at the Royal Welsh Showground.
