Mr Evan Jones of the Parcybedw Stud near Llanybydder has sadly passed away.

Joining the Society in 1982, he was well known as a breeder of Welsh Ponies of Cob type. His Section ‘C’s’ gave him great pleasure and many amongst those he bred have had an influence for other breeders, for example Parcybedw Cherryade at Neuaddparc and Parcybedw Boy George with stock at Menai, Newhouse, Joyton and Esceifiog.before his export to Denmark.

The Society extends its sympathy to his family and friends.
