Iorwerth Jenkins of Clwydyrhiw Stud

Sadly, the WPCS has been informed of the passing of Iorwerth Jenkins of Clwydyrhiw Stud.

A long standing member of the WPCS, he passed away on the 26th of March 2023.

Iowerth was the owner and founder of Clwydyrhiw Stud where he had a real passion for the Welsh breed and bred Section A, C & D’s.

Iorwerth has bred some successful and versatile ponies and cobs in his time. His most recent success being his Section A mare Clwydyrhiw Mayflower who took champion at Vaynor Show in 2022 before Iorie enjoyed his short showing retirement.

The funeral arrangements for Iorwerth Jenkins are as follows:

There will be a small 5 minute service from outside the family farm in Troedyrhiw, Porth before we embark on our journey to the Crematorium at 12pm on the 24th April 2024 for the family of Iorie.

He will finally have the send off he deserves at 13:15pm- Coity Crematorium.

We are accepting family flowers ONLY, but are accepting donations to the British Heart Foundation.

Following the crematorium service there is an invite to all to join us at The Bertie, Trehafod, CF37 2NW where there will be light refreshments provided.
