DNA – do it now!

Do you have a mare that has foaled her first purebred foal this year and has not been DNA profiled?

Do you have a maiden mare or filly which has not been DNA profiled, that you are covering for the first time this year with a purebred stallion or colt?

If the answer is yes to ether question – don’t delay order a DNA profiling kit from the Society and get ahead of the game. This will avoid delays when registering. Go to https://wpcs.uk.com/product/dna-kit/ and don’t forget to name the animal who is to be profiled in the additional information box at check out.

When your vet attends to harvest the hair sample please ensure they avoid the following –

Harvesting a very sparse sample of a few hairs!

Likewise, we don’t need half the animal’s tail!
