The Welsh Pony and Cob Society are delighted to launch the opening of entries for the Official Autumn sale to be held at The Royal Welsh Showground between October the 14th and 16th ,2022.

The sale will be conducted by McCartneys the Society’s Official Auctioneers. It has been scheduled over three days, but this is dependent on the number of entries received. The outline plan is:

Friday -Performance animals – Sections A, B, C, D including all Welsh Part-breds (large and small) and Geldings

Saturday – Section A’s & B’s

Sunday -Section C’s & D’s

To ensure the very best service for the sale, if there are over 200 lots entered for any one day, it will be at the discretion of the Society and the Auctioneers to amend the lotting accordingly.

All entries this year will be entered online via the Society’s Online pedigree portal.

Members will require their membership number and their unique online pedigree password to enter. The membership number is on your membership card. If you do not know your password, please contact the WPCS Office.

Payment for entry will be via the WPCS Online Shop.

The closing date for entries is Friday 26th of August. (This will be strictly adhered to)

Entry fees have been kept at the 2021 level of

  • Foals (born in 2022) £40.00 + VAT (£48.00)
  • All other entries £54.00 + VAT (£64.80)

All geldings entered will automatically be entered for the Gelding show held at the sale.

Catalogues will be available in good time prior to the sale from the WPCS Online shop or the WPCS Office. The price and availability date will be shared in due course.
