The Welsh Pony and Cob Society are delighted to announce their inaugural Official online sale held by Farmers Marts – the recently appointed Official Online auctioneers to the Society.

The catalogue is now live

The entry of 46 includes high quality registered Welsh Ponies, Cobs and Partbreds offering the discerning buyer the opportunity to access some of the leading bloodlines within the Studbook. The entries include a diverse range of ages from foals to mature breeding stock and performance animals.

 80% of the entry in this ‘pilot sale’ are direct from the breeders with lots from as far afield as Australia, the Netherlands, Devon, Yorkshire, Suffolk , Scotland and Wales.

Online bidding will commence from 11.am on Thursday 27th of August

The sale itself will start at 11.00am on Saturday 29th of August where we hope enthusiasts and breeders from all over the World will join together for a special online experience.

Click on the images of each animal and you can enlarge the picture using the tool-keys provided. Pedigrees of each animal are also available. We hope you enjoy the quality on offer.

The Society would like to thank those vendors who have supported this inaugural venture and wishes them well with their sales. The WPCS and its members funds will benefit from a portion of the entry fee and a percentage of the seller and buyer’s premium. Thank you as well to Farmersmarts for their energies and support in this online venture to enable the promotion and selling of the breed in such difficult times.
