SUPPORT YOUR SOCIETY’S INAUGURAL ONLINE SALE

Following the announcement last Friday of the upcoming ‘pilot’ online sale, here are the ‘Terms and Conditions’ for vendors and purchasers https://tinyurl.com/yav92z28

The Society has taken the decision to offer Online sales due to the ongoing government restrictions on large gatherings of people, which make it impossible to stage the ‘traditional’ sales held at a venue.

We are actively planning for the return of those sales as soon as possible and will tender for an Official Auctioneer in the next few weeks.

The first Official ‘Online’ sale is now accepting entries.

The Society and therefore the membership benefit directly from these sales through the levied entry fee, where the Society has negotiated with Farmer’s Marts – the Official Auctioneers to ensure a significant part of the entry fee as income for the WPCS.  A further income for the WPCS and its membership will be collected as a percentage of the premium income on the sold lots.

The  Official online Sales are run on behalf of the Society and therefore the members   by a recognised, experienced and accredited auction house who have insurance indemnities and a detailed set of terms and conditions to protect the interests of the Society, the animals, the vendor and the purchaser.

The official sales are being promoted worldwide via the network of WPCS members and the daughter societies and will ensure exposure and profile for each entry.

The results of these sales will also be recorded for posterity in the WPCS journal

So, come on members – support your Society and enter your best stock to sell
