Mr Bill Farrell has recently passed away.He joined the WPCS in 1957 and bred Welsh Ponies Section B and Welsh Part-breds under the Marchwiel prefix.

He was also known as the Secretary of the long running West Midland Stallion Show which traditionally heralded the start of the Stallion shows each spring. A WPCS panel Judge and Assessor, Bill Farrell had judged at most of the major shows throughout the UK.
