‘Everybody loves a Scandal!’

On the day of the final of the prestigious Price Family Supreme in hand Championship at the Horse of the year show we share the last of the six Welsh breeds qualifiers who will strut their stuff in the rarefied atmosphere of the Caldene arena.

The bay Welsh part bred two year old filly Royaloaks(AUS) Love Scandal is bred and owned by Mr Dillingham. She qualified at the Three Counties show, going Champion in her section under Jocelyn Price and taking the coveted ticket under Alan Davies.

Love Scandal is the latest in a very long list of glitterati produced for this Championship by Jerome Harforth who is a master at presenting top animals in outstanding order at the October final.

On her sires’ side she traces back to the Fayre Oaks sale topper Small-land Tapdance –himself a son of a past Cuddy Qualifier Small-land Maytino who was incidentally also produced for the show by Jerome as a young colt.
Her damline is from down under as Royaloaks (AUS) Love Affair was imported to the UK from Australia. By the prolific getter of top-quality riding ponies Royalwood Boy Soprano she traces back to Keston Fayleen a Wingrove Minkino daughter and grand-daughter of the legendary Pretty Polly. This filly’s future destiny is as a 13.2 Show pony.

We wish her well in the final!
