Judging and Showing

Showing and judging Welsh Ponies and Cobs, be it ridden, driven or in-hand, can be great fun.  The Society provides a wealth of information to both exhibitors and judges, which can be found on the left hand side of this page.

Clipping of Foals and Youngstock

Council wishes to draw to members attention the ruling that foals and youngstock should not be clipped. Judges will be asked to take strong action against anyone who contravenes this ruling as from 1st January 2014.

Affiliated Shows

Shows can affilate to the Society to award rosettes and medals (bronze, silver and gold) subject to meeting the necessary criteria in terms of classes and entry numbers etc.  Further information can be obtained by contacting the Society office.
