Judging and Showing
Showing Welsh Ponies and Cobs can be tremendous fun and there are a number of affilated medal Shows to compete in across the UK. In 2011, the WPCS International Show is being held in the UK, giving competitors the opportunity to compete on an international level.
The Society has a Panel of Judges for In-hand, Ridden and Driving classes.
Further information on the Judging and Showing can be found on the left hand side of this page.
Transfer of Ownership
The fee to record the transfer of ownership of an animal is £12.50. This is one of the most frequently asked questions on the Website! Please ensure that the last recorded owner has signed the passport to confirm the transfer and that this is returned with the correct remmittance. This is the buyers responsibility.
Statement from Council
The Council of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society are mindful of the large number of ponies being bred in the current economic climate and urge members to act responsibly and be selective in their breeding policies.
New Web site
The new Society Web site is still under construction. Please bear with us during this transient phase. We are looking for as many photographs as possible for the new Web site. If you have any that you would like included as pony of the week or for general publication, please forward these to secretary@wpcs.uk.com. Thank you.
