Welsh Part-Bred Horse Group Annual Performance Awards
The Welsh Part-Bred Horse Group Annual Performance Awards Luncheon was held on Wednesday 7th December at the Hare and Hounds Westonbirt.
Our guests were Mrs Kathleen James, WPCS President, Mr Terry Court, Equine Director, Brightwells and Ann Bigley of the Llanarth Stud. It was rewarding to welcome many new faces to the awards where like minded owners, breeders, riders and supporters of this blood enjoyed time to swap knowledge, experiences and celebrate their 2011 successes.
Primarily these awards recognise outstanding achievement in affiliated Dressage, Eventing, Endurance and Showjumping. The Group is happy to report some exceptional performances during the season, in particular the success Cadifor Harry at the National Dressage Winter Championships and Royal Welsh at the Grassroots Eventing Championships at Badminton. It gives Welsh Part-Bred Group even greater pleasure to report that both these horses are 50% Welsh and by D Stallions.
