The Glamorgan Association has continued to prosper and grow in numbers during 2015, and for this, our committee would like to sincerely thank the continued support of our members and the ever increasing number of exhibitors at our three annual shows.  Huge thanks go to the Committee for their enthusiasm and hard work.

After a very triumphant season for all of our members and some enjoyable events, we would like to congratulate everyone on their successes and winnings for 2014 & 2015.

SEPTEMBER 2014, we had another fabulous trip to Newmarket organised by Mr Edwin Prosser, visiting some huge racing yards, Rowley mile to see the horses in action, and an afternoon at the races

2014 was a very accomplished year for all with many Glamorgan events becoming a big success with our Foal & Youngstock show in October with many knowledgeable talks from the following guest speakers which were enjoyed by all members with a great turnout of listeners:

Many of our members had some great wins at this 4 day event, there was 2,184 In Hand entries overall, plus ridden entries

Mr & Mrs Donati on  winning the Welsh Sec A Championship, with Ceulan Calon Lan who then went onto win the Ticket for the Cuddy Championship  , and Reserve Overall Supreme.

Also our president Dr Wynne Davies released his new Book From the Horse’s Mouth: Dr Wynne’s Diaries. He had a very busy day promoting and signing copies of the book inside the WPCS Pavilion for all the Ceulan Followers as well as striding out along the grandstand with Ceulan Calon Lan, which delighted the crowds. The New book contains a captivating portrait of several generations of his family and their connection to ponies and cobs, as well as Dr Wynne’s own life story. From Dr Wynne's early life, to teaching in the Rhondda and the relocation of Ceulan Stud. This book is a fascinating read that will have you smiling from start to finish.
